If I had known how much money is shelled out to plumbers, electricians, and carpenters back when I was deciding on what form of employment to enter, I definitely would have reconsidered my profession. Not to mention, if I had known that there would be a change in the image and new found level of respect for the plumber, electrician and carpenter due to a global recession. Anyhoo, I now am experiencing my opportunity to learn a great deal about the average Joe’s ability to conduct home repair‘s on one’s own. I highly recommend this approach from here on out. Now, this is not to say that we should attempt the really technical stuff, or major heavy lifting without the aid of a professional. Just remember that there is a common sense time and place for self handled home repairs. Most importantly, as my pops the engineer always says, SAFETY FIRST.
